Dear Mr. Chapman, I have had the pleasure of being helped by your team this week replacing 2 full systems in my home. It started out a few weeks ago by having Tom Hasselschwert come over review the project and create an estimate that I received quickly. Tom and your company were referred to me by my next door neighbor who had a new system installed about a month ago.I called Vicki this past Monday for a setup date and Vicki responded after checking the `job board` “ how about Tuesday at 8:15†. Robert and his assistant showed up at 8:10 am and got started and finished the first system just after 4pm or so. The second system on Wednesday was harder to get to, it was hotter and an Electrician that was doing some work slowed them down a little. ROBERT IS OUTSTANDING!! I have used Chapman Air for years, they continue to provide outstanding service. A few years ago, they re did our ducks, it was like a new, better air conditioning system. They continue to provide excellent service.

We hadn’t budgeted for a major home expense when our 20 yr old HVAC system failed. We referred to Consumer Reports for the most cost-effective system and quickly learned that system installation is as important as the quality of the equipment: Poorly installed equipment can’t function efficiently or reliably. So we carefully requested proposals for the replacement system.Of the several proposals, we selected Chapman. They’ve been in the HVAC business for more than 30 years. Chapman is large enough to serve, and small enough to care. Installation was prompt and efficient; the project was completed that same week. They made custom modifications to adapt the system to our existing duct-work, and went the extra mile to make sure we’re satisfied.Manufacturer warranties require periodic maintenance, so we also selected the Chapman service plan. Because they’re a rapid response DFW company, we’re comfortable that Chapman will be available if we ever have an unexpected HVAC problem.

Called Chapman this past week and they came out the same day and was warm by the end of the night. I will definitely call chapman from now on

I wanted to thank you Chapman Air & Heat for the wonderful treatment I got from your technicians when my air conditioner stopped cooling. The technicians were very polite and arrived after I was called to let me know they were on their way. I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and family.

Provided by YP.comI selected Chapman to replace my primary HVAC system, a heat pump, in 2006. Their crew took a few days to complete the work. After the work was completed I noted the new heat pump ran continuously and late in the day could not keep up with the cooling demands (house got warm). Several trips by their "tech", but the result was always "no trouble found". Then came the electric bill. Instead of the expected 30% efficiency improvement the Trane unit would theoretically provide, energy consumption was actually 80% higher than previous months. I called Chapman but got no attention. "Unusually warm season this year..." was their opin. I tracked the consumption for three months, put an analysis together that correlated the consumption to the previous year's use. Chapman ignored me. It was only when I suggested to take Mr. Chapman to court to plead my case that he agreed to send a Supervisor out to assess the situation. The Supervisor determined the crew had mistakenly installed a standard A/C unit - not a heat pump (Though the thermostat was configured to operate it as a heat pump). They replaced the unit with the correct one. It took me several more discussions to get a partial reimbursement for the excess electricity their mistake ended up costing me.
This year the unit developed a freon leak. I called Chapman - no warranty on the installation work (In spite of the Trane 10 year warranty for the equipment....) AHS, my warranty company, no longer does business with Chapman. Needless to say I will be engaging a different HVAC service company.
