      Dr. Harlan Pollock is a graduate of the College of Medicine, OSU. He completed his internship and 4-year general surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. Two additional years of residency in the specialty of plastic and reconstructive surgery were completed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Pollock is board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Pollock also holds many professional memberships including the Dallas County medical society and has held the position of president in both the Texas and Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is Board Certified in general surgery and has achieved the status of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Pollock established his private practice in 1971 and specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery with an emphasis on aesthetic or cosmetic plastic surgery. He is on the teaching staff of UT Southwestern's Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Pollock is an active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and The American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has held the position of Chair of two major committees and appointment to the Board of Directors in 2000. Dr. Pollock is currently a board member and officer of the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities, and agency promoting safety in outpatient surgical facilities.
