I used American Baggage & Box Transport, Inc recently (Dec 2012) to ship a baggage with personal items to India. The service was extremely unsatisfactory on multiple levels. The whole experience was a nightmare. I choose their service as, they claim to provide: "DOOR TO DOOR AIR SERVICE To anywhere in India Includes Pick up, air freight, custom clearance and delivery. No hidden charges and India is our specialty." None of these are true. Now, the facts from my personal experience: 1) They do NOT do customs clearance. They just dump your stuff in the country and you need to go to customs office & do it yourself. 2) They do NOT do door delivery. They charge the receiver additionally to do door delivery. 3) They over charge for the shipment with incorrect dimension & weight of your shipment. 4) Their customer service is useless and unresponsive. They take your shipment & money and they keep charging you with additional expenses to delivery handover the paper for your own shipment.
