I went to her for a TMJ problem. She called me later and told me that I could be in a special program for Botox to help with TMJ. Of course, I was in so much pain I did this. I had horrible side effects--pulsing headaches and shooting pains where I was injected--forget the jaw pain. These were at the injection sites. When I called for an emergency visit on this. She did see me right away, but spent 2 hours telling me that it wasn't the botox, but a vascular problem. The reaction did last the amount of time as expected--3-4 months. But for her to tell me I was *emotional* and under stress as an excuse. If I had had the time I would have reported that reaction to the FDA, but that was something she should have done instead of denying it was one. And yes, I do get migraines and tension headaches, but these pains were NOT like anything I have ever felt. BEWARE, and of course when you get in there, she'll try to get you for more injections!! Worst experience with a doctor.

This MD will tell you she is a facial plastic surgeon with years of experience with dermal fillers. She injected me with Sculptra, telling me that she had more experience with this filler then anyone else in the Boston area. Turns out she was learning how to use this filler, placed it in the periorbital region which is contraindicated in the package insert. I have significant lumps under my eyes. She blames me. A real professional to STAY AWAY FROM for your health and wellbeing.
