I am never one to write reviews but the care my dog received on 3/24 was fantastic. This review telling all is needed. I made a last minute appointment and I had in my mind I was going to have a $300 bill at least. The price of the visit and tests was a little over $100; very reasonable! Exam, tests, and medication. I will continue to take my dog there!

My dog had been vomiting all weekend and after a rather expensive midnight trip to a nearby eVet, they had his vomiting somewhat stabilized. The following day, I decided to call Dearborn Veterinary Hospital for a follow up, as my regular vet is somewhat far away and my dog would not have tolerated a longer car ride. Fortunately, they were able to schedule me for a same day appointment. Even though my dog is a bit of a fearful basket case when it comes to vet exams and procedures, Dr. Heinold was very patient with him and we eventually got him to calm down enough to endure a full physical exam. Dr. Heinold then gave me a very clear explanation of what he thinks might be wrong with my dog, treatment plan, and prognosis and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Everything was reasonably priced and he was not heavy handed about running a lot of expensive diagnostics unless the situation calls for it, which I really appreciated. The staff here are also receptive and pleasant to work with. I'm glad I took my dog here for a follow up and would not hesitate to bring my dog here for other veterinary needs.
