      General Info
      The Center for Multisystem Disease in Denver specializes in disorders that affect multiple body systems. These diseases often cause such complex symptoms that patients spend years going from one doctor to the next, without ever obtaining an accurate diagnosis because their problem doesn’t fit neatly into a traditional medical specialty. Jill Schofield, MD founded the Center for Multisystem Disease to provide comprehensive care to patients with conditions such as dysautonomia, mast cell activation syndrome, antiphospholipid syndrome, Sjögren’s syndrome, and celiac disease. Some of the patients suffering from these disorders also have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which causes additional struggles. She specializes in immune-mediated disorders that are confounding due to bodywide symptoms, devoting extra time to each patient so she can identify the issues causing their symptoms. She was the recipient of the 2019 Dysautonomia Support Network’s Game Changer Award for her work in the use of IVIG to treat patients with autoimmune forms of dysautonomia. At the Center for Multisystem Disease, you’ll receive compassionate care that includes not just medication, but support for lifestyle changes that are important for many patients suffering from these disorders. This includes dietary counseling, help with stress reduction, and learning the best ways to exercise to maintain well-being without aggravating your condition.
