We provide energy analysis and energy modeling services for 179-D Tax Deductions. Section 179-D of the Federal Tax Code provides a tax deduction for energy efficiency upgrades to commercial buildings. A building may qualify for a tax deduction under Section 179-D for up to $1.80/ft² for new construction and major renovations that demonstration 50% whole building energy savings relative to an ASHRAE 90.1 baseline.
