I went to get my car washed on 5/29/12 at around 10:30.

I paid for the full service one, $15.

Guys dried the car, washed windows inside and out, etc.

My aluminum wheels were still dirty so I went inside to inquire.

I rang the bell and one of the workers came out. I explained to him that my car’s wheels are still dirty and my car wash package was full service $15 . How could they not make sure that my wheels are clean? If anything offer to clean them or let me go through the car was again. The worker explained that clean wheels are not included in full service auto carwash package.

This is the first time I have encountered that and was very surprised. Where ever I would take my car to an automatic carwash and my wheels were still dirty the manager or the owner offered another round of cleaning free of charge without hesitation.

At this point I just want my wheels cleaned so I ask how much to get them cleaned? Worker says it will be $4, I pay and take my receipt.

10 seconds later manager shows up, white, brown hair, crew cut, husky. I explain to him the situation.

His response in a very condescending tone is that an automatic car wash does not include wheels. My reply was what I told the worker and that I will never come back again. Manager says I don’t want your business and told me to leave in a threatening voice. I was taken back by manager’s lack of basic customer service skills. Worker who was helping me 2 minutes before had far more superior customer service skills and frankly should be the manager at that place. How can anyone speak to a customer like that? I was nothing by courteous, calm and polite when inquiring about my car’s dirty wheels.

So….I told the manager that I paid for the service and I will sit down in the waiting room, enjoy his AC and wait until the service I paid for is done. Which is exactly what I did.

Worker comes up to me and says that my car is finished. I walk over to my car, look at the wheels and just cannot believe on how poorly they cleaned the wheels. Maybe I expect too much for his 2 minutes of work. I know because I watched.

Moral of the story is do not use that car wash. Their lack of basic customer service and inability to clean a car correctly is not exactly a winning car wash combination.
