Auction has a bunch of shill bidders who are working with Charity motors auction to bid up car prices. They sell cars at TOP price then cut it in half, which is about at market price for crap cars you can buy elsewhere

I have donated 3 cars to Charity Motors over the years. This is the only car donation charity that I always received a fair value to write off on my taxes. Mother Waddles & the rest have only offered a fraction of the value.
I have not had any problems other than the pick-up being later in the day than scheduled.

I can not recommend Charity Motors as an organization for you to donate your car to. They are flat out not pleasant to deal with. They are not blatant rude, they are low level rude, like it would be painful for them to be nice. Expect to be put on hold if at all possible. Do not expect an estimate of how long you will be on hold. Expect them not to call you back if they tell you someone will call you in a couple days. Expect them to expect you to know and understand the process of donating a car to them. If you have to ask a question, you should expect them to make you feel stupid. A towing company schedules and performs the pickup of your vehicle. Expect them to treat you just like the Charity Motors team.



Next time I will try a different charity group - Purple Heart, for example.
