      Detroit Receiving Hospital, located in Detroit, is a Level 1 Trauma Center in Michigan. The institution is an adult specialty hospital offering services in emergency medicine, complex trauma, critical care, neuroscience and gerontology. The hospital s emergency department treats more than 85,000 patients every year. It also features a burn center, hyperbaric oxygen therapy program, and certified primary stroke center. The hospital s services include geriatric care, occupational health, oral surgery, physical and occupational therapy, primary care nursing services, trauma and emergency medicine, urology, and visually handicapped services. It is licensed for more than 300 beds, and admits critically ill and injured patients.
