I recently decided to attempt to remove a four story ash tree that showed no signs of life. A branch from this tree had previously fallen ... taking out the neighbor's power line.
With good intentions and seeming adequate planning, I set out to cut and drop the tree in a neighbors yard which was my intention. To my dismay, once the cut was made, the tree hung up in neighboring trees, threatening to fall in the opposition direction endangering a garage, car, two power lines and several other utilities.
I panicked and quickly decided the situation was too dangerous to continue alone. I called Rick's to ask for emergency assistance with my situation. Rick's called out a crew that arrived very quickly considering the call wasn't placed until 7 PM. Once Rick's was on-site, the crew quickly and efficiently worked to secure the tree and convert a potentially dangerous situation into one that was safe and manageable to begin dismantling the tree.
I found Rick's crew members very understanding of my panicked state and we're very willing to answer any questions or concerns that I had at the time. Within the hour, the tree was down and I could begin to breath once again.
I would highly recommend Rick's ... I will be using them in the future for several addition tree concerns that I have ... this time during regular business hours. Thank you for the great service!

Rick charged me $135 for a mistake they made with scheduling. I needed a tree branch removed from my garage and when I called on a Thursday to ask if it could be done by Monday morning, they said no. They said the earliest would be Wednesday or Thursday the next week. The lady on the phone told me they could have the scheduler call when they knew how soon they could be there. In the meantime, I found someone else who could do it earlier. Since I hadn't actually BOOKED anything, I didn't think to call Rick's. Imagine my surprise when they showed up Monday morning with heavy equipment (the day they said they definitely couldn't get there) to remove the branch that was already gone. When I explained to Rick that the scheduler was supposed to call me, he insisted that I was wrong and that I owed them money. Then proceeded to tell me he was turning me over to a collection agency! For THEIR mistake!
