I love shopping at Shoes Retreat but the next time I went there, the shop was closed. Can anyone tell me what happened to this shop.

I was on vacation in MD, for the Christmas holidays and found the shoe retreat by accident. All I can say is I wish there was one in NC. They have shoe we haven't even heard of, and the prices are unreal. When I visit again my main objective will be, take me to the shoe retreat, I can spend hours in there.

Just bought a pair of couture shoes that were originally $179 for $20!! Though not as many choices as DSW, Shoe Retreat has many of the same quality brands that DSW carries, for deeply discounted prices. Their whole downstairs is their sale section, so you can definitely find a great deal. They also have a rewards program where if you spend $200, you get $20 off your next purchase! It's a keeper for me.

I just purchase 2 1/2 weeks ago four pairs of shoes that I am VERY pleased with and when I checked the retail price for these shoes of was SHOCKED at how much I saved. Shoe Retreat has a customer for LIFE!

Be very careful what you purchase from Shoe Retreat. You have to look very close at how the shoes that have for sale are made. I looked very close at the stitching and found some of the shoes that had some flaws in them. When you see the flaws you quickly understand why they are selling the shoes at cost. Just be careful and look very close at what you are purchasing. Just because they claim to sell shoes at a lower price than department stores does not mean that you the consumer are getting a good deal. Remember you get what you pay for!
