Dionne Warwick Institute offers educational instruction to students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school has an enrollment of more than 500 students and is a part of the East Orange School District. It is one of the pioneers in the area of elementary economics and entrepreneurship education. The school offers both an academic and thematic curriculum that incorporates elements of technology education in which students learn to calculate profit and loss statements, compose business plans and generate multimedia presentations. The school was selected by the National Center on Education as a national model school for the whole school reform model, America's Choice in recognition of the school's high level of implementation of the design and the test results achieved in literacy and mathematics. The school has a banking partnership with PNC bank for all students that encourage them to save money made on their entrepreneurial ventures. Dionne Warwick Institute is located in East Orange, N.J.
