I recommend Gibson ranch to a very close friend of mine for her wedding. We went out look at the venue and it was absolutely perfect. So they booked the site and all of the cabins for there wedding! They received a call 4 months before there wedding and were advised that they double booked the site! They signed a contract with the other party 4 days after my friend signed hers! Doug Ose was not willing to do anything to rectify the situation, he was rude and very unprofessional to deal with. I will never spend another dime at Gibson Ranch! You should be ashamed of yourselves! If you are planning on booking a wedding at Gibson ranch make sure you have a backup plan!

Extremely bad care, very poor customer service. Management are shady as they come. (Run a background check on the barn manager and you will see for yourself) THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced...and run by a politician so that should tell you everything you need to know. 2 horse died while we boarded there and they are indifferent. DO NOT BOARD HERE!

Don't be fooled. This link is going to Woodland not the real Gibson Ranch in Elverta, California. The notorious managers moved to Woodland as well as some of the other very bad boarders. I do NOT recommend ever or wish upon anyone to have to leave their horses in these people's care. Terrible attitudes, terrible care. If one star means 0. Then I will rate one star just so people make sure to read. And if you speak up, you will get kicked out.
