      General Info
      After graduating high school, Laura worked as a desktop publisher at Kinko's. She then worked as a graphic designer for a printer in the real estate industry, and then went on to become a production manager/art director at CPS Publishing, in Ventura County, CA, distributing its magazines in San Fernando, Ventura County, and the Santa Clarita Valley. Beulke also managed eight other destinations and relocation/chamber directories. As a self-taught designer and entrepreneur, Laura decided to start her own printing business in 2002. "I worked for others for many years and felt I had a lot to offer, " she said. Laura vowed to herself that she would never create bland and generic marketing materials for her clients. "There are too many printers that do that already, " Laura said. Starting as a home-based business, Laura began Vertical Printing and Graphics ( VPG ) out of her garage to provide clients with custom printing and design services that would stand out from all other printers. Enjoying self-employment, Laura used her creative freedom to offer her clients valuable service and products. Laura would constantly be found putting in many hours on her printing business. Her hard work proved to be a success because in July 2003, Laura moved VPG to its current location in Encinitas, CA. Today, there are full-time employees on staff "to help you match your every need." Designers, print, production and mailing staff work as a team at VPG. With clientele in more than 25 U.S. states, VPG has completed orders for a large company that has locations in India, Japan, United Kingdom and Canada. Using inventive color and style schemes, Laura makes sure that VPG produces for its clients the most captivating marketing tools everyday. "Every customer's printing needs are created based on individualized needs ; not dictated by a standard formula, " said Laura. VPG creates unparalleled, clever and highly-effective individualized services for all customers and clients. "We can help with the marketing or creative part and then the design, print and finishing services, " Laura said Laura and her staff realize that small businesses and large companies need extra attention to make their marketing campaigns stand out. From identity/logos creation, business cards, and other marketing pieces and ideas, VPG helps these clients start from the ground up. "We truly are a one stop shop, we offer concept to completion even with mailing services if needed, " Laura said. VPG's clients appreciate the fact that, unlike many other printers, Vertical Printing & Graphics specializes in short-run printing and mailing orders. Whereas other printers will only handle orders in the thousands, Vertical Printing & Graphics will print and bulk-mail as few as 200 pieces, the minimum the post office will allow.
