I've been going to Etta's Hair Braiding and beauty salon for over 15 years. They braids very good..and they're always willing to take care of any complaints a client may have regarding his or her hair .. I'm sure they must be doing something right because Etta's been in business for over 25 years..I love Etta's Hair Braiding and beauty salon because they're open 7days a week..

The owner over books.. it's tax season so she is trying to make all of her money that she doesn't make all year in one season . She said out of her mouth she does not make any money throughout the year and what she does make is not enough to pay her bills. I took a picture along with me on my phone , Actually a few pictures, showing the owner Janette exactly what I wanted . She said ok. I also showed the breeder that was braiding my hair the picture of how I wanted my hair and she also said OK. I asked the owner when I first sat in the chair how much would it be to get small Senegalese twist and below bra length .. she originally stated 200, Which is completely absurd and overpriced .. I told her no that's Overpriced.. she then said OK 180 .. that was still too high but I just said OK fine . She said shoulder length was 160 brawl length is 180 and waist length is 200 .. when the braider got done with my hair it was shoulder length and I paid 180. Not to mention I had to guide both breeders that was on my head through the whole process of braiding my hair and they are supposed to be the professionals .... instead of giving me smalls Senegalese twist it look like I had five jumbo Marley twist in my head .. instead of my braids coming past my bra like how I wanted it stop at my shoulder so now I can't even wear a top bun .. I must say that the owner is completely incompetent and she talks about all of her employees like dogs to their faces and she does not shut up .. Save your money and do not go there whatever you want they will do the complete opposite !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my granddaughter there last Sat. Etta did an excellent job on her twists they are beautiful.So do not know why people say not to go there I give her a 5 star shop very clean everyone was very nice no customers walk out.Will take my granddaughter back

Jeanette is the laziest braider I have ever seen. So incompasionate, she talks about her past braiders, and current help. Please dont go to this location. She over-books and has no other braiders; the helper is useless. I been there and see other clients walk out. This is not where u want to go.

Terrible braiding , not even a week later my hair looks terrible. Took all night and the twist are too big. The woman working with her cant braid!! $ave your money dont go here!!

I would never refer this braiding show to know one Braids came out in 1week and they wouldn't replace them when I called them the woman on the phone was very rude and even hung the phone up on me so $220 gone down the drain...

I would return because Etta gives the best perms around.

The worse!dont go here....First off I got goddess twist, it was my 1st time trying this place an boy was it a mistake...200 for braids that started falling out in chunks! In like a weeks time I lost over 50 braids both frint in back and had to take them out in less then two weeks cause I loss more!!!!!! On top all that I have two bald spots in my head from her pulling so hard! Dont do it!!!!!
