Provided by DexKnowsMy husband and I have eaten here for years. Long before they moved and I have never had a bad meal. This past week-end we drove up from Fort Collins and had the most delicious meal I have ever eaten. This is my go-to make me feel good place to eat. I love it!

Provided by DexKnowsMy wife and I have been dining at Sweet Basilico's for many years. Our meals have always been fresh and flavorful. A friend who was once visiting from Boston commented when we were dining there "That's the best eggplant parmesan I've ever had."--and believe me he knows Italian.I did like Sweet Basil's better when they were at their first location at the corner of Hwys. 34 & 36--it had more atmosphere as it only seated 29 people--We're talking cozy. But since moving to the old Pizza Hut, they've continued to provide good food, good service, and great prices for a tourist town.As to the compaints by ro (by the way it's Italian not Italien). I'm sorry that he/she had a bad meal and experience. I've never witnessed any of the the cleanliness problems he cited. We have an aggressive health department in this county, with weekly reports in the local newspaper, and Sweet Basil's has always gotten good reviews.I highly recommend Sweet Basilico's for great authentic Italian dining

Provided by DexKnows#User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsby Ro10/24/2010 Worst Italien I've ever had - Don't understand what all the rage is about, unless people have lost their tastebuds and common sense. - The restaurant is a food inspectors nightmare - cooks not wearing gloves, no heating lamps to keep the food warm, filthy floor, dirty glasses and silverwear, bathrooms were filthy (a good indicator of the kitchen's cleansiness) - Shrimp tasted rotten and dry - pasta was slimy - bread was an unbelievable bad white roll - the kind you would get at a run down truckstop. Will never return there!!!!!

Provided by YP.comWe have visited Sweet Basilico several times and have never been disappointed. It's amazing food in a quaint little spot. Be prepared to wait - but it is always worth it!
This is the best Italian Restaurant in Colorado. I keep their # in my cell and call for reservations before heading up. I have never had better Chicken Marsala, Never. And I don't even LIKE Tira-masu. (never mind Spell it) but i order a piece every time, and urge people around me to do the same. Beautiful. I always finish my visit by proposing to the owner/chef, "if you ever want to run away and get married, I'm your girl!" Absolutely gorgeous meals.
