As a local, this is my go-to place to eat with family, and especially out of town friends.

Me and my fiance went to Big Daddy’s tonight for his first time. I talked so highly of it and he got so excited. But then...
He ordered the prime rib, I ordered the ribs & chicken dinner plate. But when we got our food, my fiances prime rib was so hard he couldn’t cut through it, my chicken was pink and the ribs had no flavor. They said it was smoked and that’s why the chicken was pink. But I’m not dumb I know what undercooked looks like and what smoked looks like and that was definitely undercooked. Don’t get me wrong, we had an amazingly nice waitress, but my fiance and I only ate the fries, startes and salad. But had to pay full price for the prime rib, chicken, and ribs when we didn’t even eat it. To be honest I am scared to go back.

Im from kansas city, mo.. and seen Guy Ferrari* approved this place..but the place was Under staffed and not even busy....bar tender knew nothing AT ALL of what they had. Everyone working was making mistakes. Took way too long. I saw people returning their food for being cold. And when we were served they gave my food to someone else at the bar, and then my buddy and i were served at different times. I got the KC Brisquet dinner plate. It didnt fit the description at all. As soon as i got it i said "im paying $20 for this??" It wasnt close to being 1/2 a pound, it was 4 small slices and she didnt take initiative when I said something about it. The meat didn't taste like it had been smoked for 12 hours and it was definitely not the most tender meat that they had promised. it was dry .didn't taste anything like Kansas City Barbecue. I've always been a $10 tipper. I gave $2..and thats pretty bad coming from me. I never even write reviews but this place can lick it.
