I worked in the billing office for almost 3 yrs, they will correct, their mistake, also accounts are sent to after, three to four notices have been sent out, also your Insurance sends you a notice ,if they pay or deny your claim ( its the law) so prior to you receiving any bills your Insurance company sent you a notice advising you, no payment was made on your behalf, at that point its your responsibility

the physician hardly spent anytime with me and brushed me off

I have seen both Drs. Hazel and McMahon in the Herndon Office and each doctor has performed surgery on me. My husband has seen Dr. McMahon as well. Both are outstanding, well trained doctors who absolutely put their patient's wellbeing first . Both are very professional, but also easy to talk to. Neither my husband or I have ever been rushed during an appointment. Occasionally doctors run late, but this is something that does not bother me as long as I get proper attention when it is my turn to see the doctor. My husband and I have recommended Commonwealth Orthopaedics to friends and aquaintances numerous times and will continue to do so.

I went to them once without problem. However, after my most recent visit they did not bill me (presume insurance covered it, as they had last time) - I receive a bill over one year later from them saying my insurance did not cover my service - so I paid my bill in full. However, they still turned my account over to a collection agency (without any notice to me of this) and refused to admit their mistake and credit me the collection charge. In fact, they refused to even be helpful and kept referring me back to the collection agency. Will no longer use their services, and will no longer recommend their doctors to friends. Actually, this is the first time I've ever felt strongly enough to review a business online. For what it's worth. If you want to pay for your entire service out of pocket, and without notice that you even owe anything have it turned over collections agency - this is your doctor's office.

I had, and continue to have, a horrible experience at their Arlington office. I waited for over an hour to see a doctor. When he finally came in, he had an attitude that said, "Why are you wasting my time?" Terrible manner. Now, six months later, I've been accused that I didn't give them my insurance card, so they're trying to stick me with the bill. Nightmare I tell you. Just telling you my experience.
