Members of the firm are active members of the community continuing in the tradition of the firm's founding members, Herbert Thorp and Stuart Clarke. Mr. Thorp served as the president of the Cumberland County Bar Association as well as the 12th Judicial District Bar. Mr. Clarke served as a US Magistrate Judge for the US District Court, Eastern District, North Carolina from 1973-1983 and he and his family are respected members of the Fayetteville community today.
