Generac provided us with a list of recommended Generac generator installers. We decided on Challenger Electric of Florence, Colorado. The installation cost was reasonable and the recommendation of 16KW made sense for what we needed. We just felt very comfortable with John. He explained the entire installation process from A to Z. Every step of the Generac proposal from specifications to final cost was explained in detail. Literally, no surprises. Challenger provided a top-notch group of workers who dug the trenches and laid out the electrical systems, etc. Each of these people must have taken a happy pill before they came to work because they were magnificent to be around. These workers went out of their way to ensure that the work area was neat as a pin after their assignment was completed. The power company had to replace the power line to our house. I watched as the Challenger Electric workers assisted the power company team. They did not have to do so but the Challenger workers volunteered their time to assist the power company in the installation from beginning to the end. Additionally, the Challenger electricians worked hand-in-hand with the River Valley plumbing crew to keep the entire installation process operating on an even keel. At the completion of the installation, the Challenger Electric work boss meticulously explained the entire Generac generator function. What to expect during a power outage, how to read the computerized inputs, etc., etc., etc. Adding a full house generator was a major project but Challenger Electric of Florence, Colorado made it look like a piece of cake. We would highly recommend Challenger Electric of Florence, Colorado to anyone who wishes to install a Generac generator. Integrity is the one word we would use to describe Challenger Electric of Florence, Colorado and I am so very thankful that Challenger was on Generac’s list of recommended installers.
