Worst vet alive!! Dr. R. Nelson. He put my beloved elderly cat thru hell for a long time before she eventually died. I trusted him. She had chronic constipation and he said the only treatment was enemas or manual manipulation of the excrement out of the body which he was expertly able to do. I paid thousands of dollars for these treatments sometimes once a week as she couldn't seem to eliminate on her own. At one point she even became paralyzed in her back two legs because of his rough handling.. That is when I realized that I was in the hands of a horrible vet. But it gets worse..I was really heartbroken when my new rescue cat who is also elderly suffers from chronic constipation.. My current vet told me to simply sprinkle a little MiraLax over food. ( a stool softener over the counter for $4.00 ) and more importantly to ONLY feed wet food as the dry is what causes the problem. Voilah the problem has never returned.! What a monster to put both me and my cat thru that hell.

I struck gold when a friend recommended Bayview Animal Clinic over four years ago, and met Dr. Rudd Nelson and the team of doctors and staff. After one conversation with him, it was evident that he had a genuine concern and a true vested interest in my golden retriever. If you are looking for a new vet, or want to try another location, do yourself a favor and give them a tryyou will not be disappointed. Sean K
