My boyfriend worked for this company for many years until the new owners took over, when he decided to leave and open his own marine canvas company in Ft. lauderdale. While its an unfortunate situation to be sure, I think it very unfair for someone to write such a bad review of a product installed by a previous business owner on a boat that he admittedly bought used, with no idea what may have happened to the product in the interim, that may have caused the described problem. I doubt that any implied warranty would be transferable to successive owners of the boat in any event. Although most of the original employees are no longer there, I know the new owners to be friendly, conscientious people that make every attempt to do quality work. The previous business owner, Brian and his sub-contractor/installer Rodney were undoubtedly the ones that installed it originally and I know Rodney always attempts to do quality work. He wasn't in charge though and the decision as to things like screw spacing were made by the previous business owner. Actually, it sounds like simply re-caulking the leaking PVC track with an adhesive caulking might fix the leaking problem for many years to come. I can't give them a 5 star rating, because they've never done any work for me personally, but I'm aware of many marine industry companies that do and seem very satisfied with there current work.

OUTLINE: Tried as I have, I cannot get the new owner of Creative Canvas to work with me to make an installation install right.
FINAL THOUGHTS: This was a horrible installation. There was failure of the installation at less than two years! I did end up finding some screws that were spaced so far apart they did no good at all. As of 9/18/16 it is even worse. One of the screws is out, water is leaking into the cockpit. Just a fact in case you do not understand; you cannot just take it apart and fix it up. When it is installed they cut away the parts they pull on to make it tight. That statement is direct from Heather at CC. Yes, I am screwed! Please use your own judgement when using the guys. BUYER BEWARE! The owners may be new, but the same workers are there – per heather.
