My moms’ viewing was on July the 18th. At 2:00 pm the family had a special viewing or time with mom alone. My mom looked so good; I cried she looked so pretty. I could not believe my eyes. I said, "Mama didn't look that good when she was alive". What I was really trying to say, “moms’ makeup was always off a shade or two”. But they nailed it. When I saw her, it appeared as if she had fallen asleep and I wanted to said, "wake up"! In fact, several of the great grandchildren did. My mom could not have looked any more alive than that day. At the 6:00 pm open viewing there she was with her reddish lips, surrounded by red roses. She never wanted to talk about death. So I had no ideal what to do. I just wanted my moms’ home-going to be the way she lived her life, "FIRST CLASS" and with God, Carmichael Funeral Services and the florist they recommended across the street.
