I would absolutely not recommend visiting this store to sell any items. I took a basket full of items and while, granted, some of them were beyond a year or two old, I considered them to be "timeless" and still appealing (for example, a brown corderoy blazer). I was told to come back in 45 minutes and when I did, staff barely acknowledged me. Finally, a staff person (who hadn't looked through my items) informed me that they wouldn't be taking anything except a pair of earrings for $4.60. (I had never worn them and they were still in the Nordstorm box). When I asked for an explanation, he said they were taking no business attire at the moment (so no brown jacket), they take no satin clothing (I had two dresses--one from BCGB with tags) because "it doesn't sell" (yet there was a satin top in the window for sale), and everything else was "out of style." I was offended, annoyed, and considered it a waste of time. I will never return.

I visited this consignment shop yesterday with my daughter. I'm a 38 year old mom of two who works in the professional workforce. My taste in clothes trendy, but conservative. I must say that my trip was worth it. This shop had such a variety of clothes and shoes THAT FIT MY SIZE 18W, 5'9 FRAME. Although there fewer choices than for smaller women, I was still satisfied with the selection and with what I purchased, dress shorts, a halter top, several other styles of tops, and Polo sneakers. I could have spent a lot more. The store is organized by size and the pieces of clothes, shorts, dresses, sweaters, pants... Each size is is color coordinated. It's clean, doesn't smell and the staff is OK. The items aren't worn, tethered. Seven days return policy, except on shoes and accessories, with receipt and original tags, of course. I'm going back, but not on Saturdays. My coworkers said it was too crowded when she went on a Saturday. The name brand quality pieces are worth the trip, Karen Scott, Polo, TH, Coach bags and shoes, DKNY Ashley Stewart, Lane Bryant, Dress Barn, etc for the plus size ladies. My most expensive item was the Polo sneakers for $20.00.6-7 more items totaled $65.00. If you like shopping, good but cheap quality, this is the place for you. Enjoy!!

Well I was the guinea pig to try out Clothes mentor to my co-workers and family and I cannot suggest that they sell their clothes there. I dropped off clothes that still had the tags on it, shoes that were never worn and all they gave me was $26.00!! Had I not lost a tremdous amount of weight I would have taken my clothes back but seems like I wasnt going to wear them anyway I took the $26 and got a pedicure, couldnt do nothing else with it. The add is misleading they act like they are really going to pay you for your clothes but like the others who wrote reviews they lowball you so I will be going back to giving my clothes to those who really need them... Goodwill. I have warned my family and friends who are cleaning out their closets to have yard sales. Never again will I step foot in Clothes Mentor.....

I have done consignment business for over ten years and never mistreated like I was in this store. The staff members and manager' seemed uneducated and unexperienced (or I think intend to low-ball sellers which is no different from being thieves) in buying items to consign. In addition, they insisted I sign a buying policy which I did not want to since I already felt uneasy & uncomfortable leaving my expensiive items b/c they told me to come back in an hour & they would call. They never called back. When I returned they accused me that my authentic purses NOT being unverifiable because of its stitching and they could not find it on-line. I told the clerk who took the bags initially that I had several postings printed from Ebay, Designer Handbags Rescue and Amazon enclosed. I buy high-end designer wear and was APPALLED (3 of them had the Coach tags inside; two of them were $300+). I told them I have the receipts but after being insulted like that, WOULD DEFINITELY NOT return!!!
