Dr. Uma Patel at Star Dental is without hesitation, the best dentist office my wife and I have ever experienced. The staff is kind, attentive, and utilizes state of the art preventative and restorative practices. Dr. Patel is very thorough in her examination and treatment.

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. I had to do periodontal root cleaning and (DN) did a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on. Dr. Uma Patel is very good and caring doctor that I have seen. She handled me and my family very patiently and did her job wonderfully and she exceeded my expectations. Few years before I had a severe problem in my tooth and when I went to her she did orthodontic procedure very well. She always make me understand everything and provides me very good guidance with the available options. Also I had Invisalign procedure that was really taken care by her and staff with great care.
I needed 2 implants on my lower molar teeth, after researching, I chose Star Dental in Fremont, my 1st visit was very pleasant, Dr. Patel explained all aspects of the procedure, I found that she knows her profession and particularly "dental implant" very well.
On the day of surgery, with a prior plan which had been explained to me, she first extracted one of the molar tooth, bone graphed and implanted all in one shot, then she implanted the 2nd molar tooth which did not need a bone graph. She did all very professionally, with no feeling pain. I then had a short visit for removing the stitches, 3-4 month after the implant procedure, I visited the office for a minor procedure to expose the implant and have caps on them, 3 weeks later I had my wonderful crowns butted to the implants, and I am enjoying them very much, it feels like the real teeth.
I highly recommend Star Dental and Dr. Uma Patel. The staff are very nice, the price for the services are pretty reasonable, and if you have insurance, they make sure your out of pocket expenses are minimal.
Dr. Patel did amazing work on my front tooth implant. She was very quick and almost did pain free implant. Her office is very clean and accommodating, very less waiting time. Front desk is very helpful and courteous. I definitely recommend Dr. Uma Patel for dental implants.
I have been patient of Dr. patel for past many years and she recently did amazing work on my daughter's braces. She is very courteous and professional, her staff is also very flexible in accomodating last minute changes for her routing monthly visit. Dr. Uma Patel and her staff are the BEST. I'm so thankful I found her office! I was born with a missing tooth, and it has taken me a while to find a doctor I trust for placing Implant. The whole staff makes me feel welcomed and the environment is professional/friendly. Dr. Patel is awesome, very professional and knowledgable. I received my implant about a month ago and the surgery went flawlessly with only minimal pain the first week.

She is highly skilled , professional and apt at her work.She does the initial analysis and gives you options with your treatment and timeline.
As described by other reviewers she does not force upon any treatment and also does not scare you with the condition of your tooth/gums.
She patiently listens to you and explains in depth the cause of your problem.I have been umteen times to her clinic and have always received a wonderful service.
And not to mention the staff, they are worth equally appreciation.
All in all, you will not find it as a conventional dental clinic because of the friendly,skillful and adjusting behaviour of the doctor and her staff.
I hightly recommend to everyone to try this doctor atleast with regular cleaning and know for yourself.
I've been a patient of Dr. Patel for 8 years. I have referred many family members and coworkers to him over many years and everyone is very happy with her work and quality of server received. Dr. Patel is very experienced and professional. She kept 2 implants and it was almost zero pain and very successful bone graft and whole procedure was well done. I am very satisfied and highly recommend her if you are in fremont neighborhood. Thanks Dr. Patel and her office staff who is very helpful during each visit.
They are very rude and do a very poor job. Totally wasted my time and money . Now i have to redo all the things they did in this office

Office is very spacious and staff is very prompt and friendly. Almost no waiting as they send reminders few day before. I had big fear of putting implants, however after Dr. Patel's expert hands made me almost no pain and the procedure and follow ups were done very nicely.

I gotta say that Dr. Patel is the best dentist in Fremont, by far. She's extremely gentle, kind, affordable and overall just a great dentist. I had her place three dental implants for me, it worked out great and literately no pain at all.

Good Orthodontist in Fremont
I have never met such a nice caring Doctor as Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel is so gentle while working on my teeth and very attentive to my needs. While she and her staff were working, they make sure the whole procedure is virtually painless and as comfortable as they can possible make it. Not only the dr is wonderful, the rest of the staff is just as great. The Dental assistants as well as the front desk are very knowledgeable and always happy to help you when you need it. I would definitely recommend Star Dental to anyone who needs a dentist for orthodontic braces.
Dr. Patel is a great dentist. Her office staff is very professional and polite. No extra wait time. I was called in at my appointment time. She spent a lot of time explaining different options, etc. She was very thorough and answered all my questions/concerns regarding implant and also amazing part was that I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. I found Dentist Dr. Uma Patel and the entire staff who worked on my root canals, (2 of them) along with the porcelain crowns, to be very accomodating & very professional. They were very understanding & sympathetic about my pain I was having with my teeth. They took the time to explain everything they were going to do and gave me several options. I got my Dental Implant done with Dr. Uma and my experience is more than pleasant. I am very much afraid initially when I come to know about the process but Dr. Uma made me feel that I am in safe hands.
