Established in 1849, the California Southern Baptist Convention is a nonprofit church that offers fellowship training, prayer and worship services for more than 450,000 members in over 1,800 language and multiethnic congregations. It provides training, consulting, and leadership and evangelism strategy development services. The California Southern Baptist Convention provides curriculum interpretation, church planting and Bible study services for people of all ages. It also operates vacation Bible schools that offers Christ-based educational curriculum, child abuse prevention education and Bible drill services. The church additionally provides disaster relief training and emergency response and calamity management services. The California Southern Baptist Convention is located in Fresno, Calif.
