The worst dry cleaners/alterations ever!!! We wish we could give ZERO stars!

We've had things dry cleaned there and they haven't done that great of a job, but the last straw with them is when we brought 4 brand new pair of my husbands work pants to them to be hemmed. I measured them and put the chalk marks along with straight pins in the hems to show where they were to be hemmed, took them in and dropped them off, a nice young man helped me. (Who I've never seen since) He said they would call me when the pants were ready. They never called so I finally went in, they were ready. A couple of weeks later the hem of the first pair came out. We were unable to take the pants in until the next week. I spoke with a woman who actually argued with me saying that they never hemmed these pants, that it had been done by the company that made them. I insisted that they had in fact hemmed them along with 3 other pair! Then she argued that the pants were not new and that's why the hem came out. I assured her we had purchased them new, still she argued! At that point I said will you hem them or not and she said they would, reluctantly. I left very upset. And couldn't believe what had just happened. What ever happened to the customer is always right??? A few weeks later, again never getting a call, I went in and the pants were ready. As I was waiting for the woman to get them, my husband called me on my cell and asked if I had picked up his pants yet and I said I was there right now, he said good because the hem just came out of the pants he was wearing right then! I told the woman, and she said it had been to long since we had them hemmed and she wouldn't re-hem them, she didn't even want to re-hem the pants they did re-hem. I told her that he only wore one pair, then he would wear another pair when he couldn't wear that pair for what ever reason (like the hem came out!) so he wouldn't have worn them before that! She said she didn't believe me and that she wasn't going to do anything else about it. I said so what if all the other hems also come out as he wears them? She just shook her head no and said only if I pay. Disgusted and feeling ripped off I left. We will never go back and I urge you also not to patronize this business!!! They do not stand behind their work and obviously do not put their customers first!

Had a dress that was way too large in only the waist altered to fit me...a difficult alteration that the other place in Gig Harbor said was impossible to do yet Gig Harbor Dry Cleaning made this dress fit me like a glove! Recommended to EVERYONE, I'm definitely going to start getting my clothes altered more!
