Unfortunately this is the only bike shop in the area. I don't really like having to go in here or to talk to their employees. They don't often have exactly what I need, and the prices are high.

I have been a customer of Old Town Bike in Gig Harbor since 2002. If I have questions or issues with my bike (which I purchased from Old Town) they are always there for me. Warrenty coverage is THE BEST, Customer care and service is THE BEST. You cannot go wrong by shopping Old Town Bike. If it is not in stock, they can get it. Prices are always competitive.

This place used to be great but under new management they have really gone downhill. Just don't kow what to think. They're awful. Can't answer questions, can't return calls, prices through the roof.

we were looking at an entry level road bike for my wife. we had a good idea of what we wanted and how much we were will willing to spend. we browesd the shop and did a basic fit on a bike we were interested in and then nothing, nada, zilch and finally zero. No one even acknowledged our presence. So after 20 minutes in the store we left I wont be going back. So far I havent found a good bike shop in tacoma. I have had the best experience at rei always great service‎

Not what I was expecting.

Whether you are looking to drop some coin on a new machine or just want to get an opinion about racing, the staff at Old town are the folks you want. I have enjoyed every interaction with them from mechanic stuff to buying a water bottle.

The Gig Harbor store is not as large as the Tacoma location, but the staff is just as knowledgeable and friendly. The clothes selection is cool and classy for men and women cyclists
