Completely disgusted with my visit. I could SMELL the mold in the building. Also, she was gossiping about a local area restaurant owner who she waxes HIM.... who does that? Also, talking bad about her 2 sons and how they "messed up the lives of her grandchildren for drugs" I will NEVER go back. I've been told she is shutting down anyway, which THANK GOD! She does not deserve to be in business! I dont even think she deserves ONE STAR!

Also I would be embarrassed as an area bar owner since she tells everyone what services she does to him. No wonder she cannot keep stylists or employees, she treats everyone horribly! She's rarely on time for appointments... God forbid almost 60 years old and getting out of bed before 10am! Lazy!!!

Went here to use gift certificate. Very unprofessional staff and when it came time to pay, price was different because I had a gift certificate. It was 45 minutes after my appointment time before they finally got me in and it was so noisy that I could not relax. Owner was telling me horrible things about other area spas and spa owners. Not a pleasant day at all.

All the reviews I read on Insider Pages, Yahoo Local, City Search, Ect are negative regarding Teena's Day Spa. After reading these reviews I felt obligated to share my horrible experience. I too was treated like a second rate citizen by Teena. My time was obviously not important to her because I had to wait nearly 45 minutes after my set appointment time to get in. The price I was quoted on the phone was much less than what I was actually charged. When I asked her about the price difference, she told me to prove what I was told on the phone. When I left after my facial, I kept smelling a sour odor. When I got home my husband smelled it too and we realized that it was my face- I really think she used a dirty towel on me. I smelled this smell when I first went into her office, but thought it was the overflowing laundry basket I had to sit next too. Little did I know that I was going to leave smelling like dirty laundry. I read one review regarding a used wax strip being left out. Well I too expereinced this. There was a strip and used razor full of curly hair just laying on the cart that whe was getting instruments off of to use on my face. I won't be back. I forgot to cancel my next appointment and received a hateful phone call saying that because I didn't cancel that she was going to charge my card for the visit. When I asked about having to wait 45 minutes for my previous appointment, she responded with, "obviously your not experienced in classy services such as hers, and that because of the quality of service,sometimes appointments run over ". When I pointed out that she wasn't even there when I arrived for my appointment, she just hung up on me. Read the reviews before you go.......save yourself the disappointment.

Teena's Day Spa is one of the most relaxing and beautiful establishments in the Riverbend area!! Not only are there MANY services to choose from, but each employee is very well trained and knowledgable! If you're looking for First Class service, look no further than Teena's!!

Teena is soo great and makes you feel soo comfortable. I did the microdermabrasion and was pretty scared at first, but just like she told me I had nothing to worry about. Im not finished with the treatments yet but already my skin has improved soo much. I will continue to go to her and purchase product from her. She has really helped me soo much!! Thanks Teena!!!

The facial bed is so wonderful with 8 massage motors and a heated neck wrap whether you are doing a brow wax or a facial IT IS A TREAT!!!!! Teena is very pleasant and goes out of her way to help any skin problem whether it is makeup or skin. She explains in detail what you need. And she sells Bare Escentuals!
