Terry Anderson appraised our home when we were selling it, and he did a great job! He is very nice and caring, and an all around great guy. I have lived in GF all my life, and Anderson Appraisal has a reputation for being the most honest appraisal place in Grand Forks. Some people don't like them and get ticked because they want an appraiser to tell them their house is worth more than it is for selling purposes (like the above poster). Let me tell you, there are dishonest appraisers in GF who will inflate the price on behalf of the seller, or deflate the price on behalf of the buyer. Terry and the staff at Anderson Appraisal won't do this, which I like because I think it is most fair to both parties. If you are looking for an all around honest and friendly appraisal, these are your guys!! If you want someone to lie and say it is worth more or less than it is for purchasing purposes...take your business somewhere else!

If you are trying to sell your house and have multiple offers at your list price avoid this guy if at all possible. He will kill your whole sale. Terry is a very disgruntle individual who spent all but 20 minutes appraising our home only to come back with a appraisal that was $20,000 under our agree purchase price. Buyers this may sound like a great deal but if you can’t get an apprisal to come in at the right price no one is going to give you a lone to buy a home. My advice is if you really love the home and you already have a purchase signed then talk to your lender and request firmly that Terry Anderson not be allowed to appraise the property you seek to purchase.
