I am not happy with Statefarm at all anymore. I have been with them for over 15yrs. The last year it has been problem after problem. I make a payment it gets sent back saying my policy was cancelled?? When I call my agent they say my policy is still good so I make the payment again. This has happened 4 months in a row and they cant seem to figure what is going on.. I am looking for another company for they don't seem to care for their long term customers. I can't get any answers in a timely manner on anything anymore.. Shame on you Statefarm.. You have lost another.

Takes them over three weeks to process a change in the policy. But they havve no incentive to process it quickly, especially if they get less money. If they bill the customer for more than they should. It is from money for them. Why process it quickly.

My husband has had a life insurance policy for over 30 years. We've been getting the yearly tax form from State Farm with the correct SS#. But this year we got a "second notice" (never got the first) saying they were going to take all deferred taxes out of his account because the social security number was incorrect. How did they manage to lose his social security number. The one they have is only off by one digit. Well, I called social security and was told they would send the required "social security printout." Instead they sent a computer inquiry saying they had no record of the (wrong) social security number. I called again and was told to go to local office with $15 to get the printout. Finally, after the required wait at the center, we got the printout with his correct number on it. In the meantime the yearly tax form came with the wrong ss#. To err is human, to really fowl things up requires a computer! Boo, State Farm. D.L. Gottberg
