Express Air Medical Transport is, a fully Licensed Florida DOH Air Ambulance provider # AIR5225, and an ALL INCLUSIVE Fixed Wing (Airplane) Air Ambulance service that provides safe and affordable air medical transport services for our clients. For your needs and convenience, we currently have bases in Florida and Wisconsin. Because of this we have the ability to provide our services throughout the United States, Canada, Caribbean, Mexico and Central America to assist transporting your friends and family members to the level of care they need. Our Medical Staff and Aviation Professionals are only comprised of highly experienced, exceptionally qualified, and educationally motivated people and are setting standards for patient care and comfort. WE ARE NOT A BROKER SERVICE, WE ARE OWNER OPERATORS. Because of this, it allows us to provide close personal service with you and your family, while also providing a reasonably affordable service for you as well. Most BROKERS inflate costs, for profit because they are middlemen, then contract out the work to an unknown staff to you and have the contractor / operator represent them. When we say we are ALL INCLUSIVE we mean, that when you call us, our professionals will provide the following for you... 1) Arrange all ground transportation at beginning and end of trip (if needed). 2) Coordinate medical care between transferring facility, receiving facility, physicians, nurses, ground transport units if needed, and our in house medical director to assure appropriate care for your loved one. 3) If a family member is not traveling with us we will call and provide status updates, periodically along the trip, so you can be assured of the care and safety of your loved one. 4) If using an insurance company we will handle all approvals and coordination with them and the transferring facility.

We provide Fixed Wing (Airplane) Air Ambulance services throughout all of the United States and internationaly to all of the Caribbean, Canada, and Central America including all of Mexico. We are prepared for, and provide any of the services below, for Geriatric, Adult, Pediatric, and Neonate patient populations. Critical Care Services - An Airborne ICU with the Proper Equipment, Staffing, and appropriate Pharmaceuticals to manage the most critical of patients. The crew is put together on a case by case basis, after a medical consultation to provide the best care possible based on patient needs. This can include patients on ventilators, multiple IVs, invasive cardiac needs, neurological injuries, and trauma injuries that need higher levels of care than can be provided where they currently are. Advanced Life Support - Similar to any ground ambulance, but in the air. We manage and provide life support to most any situation that may become unstable. An example is an inpatient going hospital to hospital for further specialty care not available where they currently are. Basic Life Support Similar to a ground stretcher or wheelchair ambulance service. When a patient cannot sit upright on a commercial airplane, or may have needs that require assistance, we provide and configure our plane in a way that fits the patients needs. Typically, this is a stable person, someone on oxygen, inpatient transfer to get home near family, or possibly a hospice patient looking to be near family and loved ones. Medical Escort Service- We provide this service for families who have loved ones that can sit in a commercial airplane seat. They may require assistance with getting on/off a regular commercial flight, or have simple medical needs. An Escort/Companion may be all that is needed and not a private plane. When we book a commercial airline, we are able to book the flight in the Business or First class seats which makes this transport very comfortable and relaxing for the patient. This method may provide a substantial savings. Organ transport/procurement team transport This service is available for teams, patients, and families when it is more feasible to bring the donor organ to the recipient. We are able to pick up an organ transplant team and transfer them to their destination 24/7 year round. While you can never plan to know an actual date or time that a transplant can take place, our Organ Transport System will insure that at least one of our aircraft will be available for the mission when the time comes. When you or your loved one is a transplant candidate, time counts. We recommend that you contact us as soon as possible to per-arrange and get pre-approved for transportation. VIP/Charter Transportation - Express Aviation is also able to provide Personal Air Transportation in addition to our medical services. We provide arrangements in our fleet and coordinate limousine or town car services, hotel accommodations, and any special requests for any other needs.

This fully self contained critical care system is equipped with 3300 liters of oxygen, an air compressor, vacuum pump, inverter, a 500 watt / 115 volt ac electrical outlets, 28 volt dc outlet, and pneumatic outlets. Our automatic latching stretcher system has an adjustable backrest and a thick foam pad with bacteriostatic vinyl covering. For increased patient safety we utilize a loading ramp that can be set up in less that a minute allowing faster and easier patient transfers. This ramp is at equal height from the aircraft to most currently used ground ambulance stretchers.
