Mike Blake, the Owner of Blake Moving Company brings over 40 years of experience moving structures. Mike is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis on Economics. He is a licensed house mover and was the 2008 President of the IASM (International Association of Structural Movers.) In addition he is an officer of the North Carolina House Movers Association and a licensed Real Estate Broker. Structural moving in the Southeast annually prevents 800 million tons of debris from reaching landfills. The moving industry has assisted in providing homes for individuals who would otherwise not be able to afford their own shelter.
