My father made an appointment for 10:30 asked if he could get a later appointment as it was an hour and a half drive, told september. He is 90 and had to get up around 7:30 to get ready...already showered and shaved the night before. Got there at 10:25 filled out paper work waited till 11:30! Watched EVERY person in waiting room go back and leave. Several people came in and went back some leaving. Told receptionist we had driven an hour and a half, waited over an hour... told two more minutes...waited 5 more and left. Reaffirmed my beliefs about greeenville and the whole damn crowd. Can and will go to DUKE. Better doctors, staff, service and results, etc. etc. etc.

Dr. Lewis, his RN and entire staff are A-one. Their professionalism, sense of humor and personal touch are exemplary.I have been a patient on two separate occasions and would recommend them to anyone.With best regards and much thanks,Michael R. Hagood

On many occasions, I arrived ON TIME for my appointment, but sat in the waiting room for up to an hour without any word from anyone explaining to me why such a delay. When I finally asked the receptionist what was taking so long, I get an "I don't know". I have spoken with the so-called Office Manager numerous times, and she is absolutely no help whatsoever. For an office manager, she had zero customer service skills and could provide no real reason for the lengthy delays. I know one thing...if I were to show up an hour late for my appointment, I would most likely be told I would have to reschedule. Why is it that doctors in Greenville refuse to cater to their working customers and offer evening hours??? Then, to top it off, they close at noon on Friday. How arrogant!

I have been to this office three times since about March 2011. Dr. Cameron Smith was my provider and I foind hi, to be very professional. Per my request, I have been the last patient but never did Dr. Cameron or his staff rush their care. I found them all to be friendly, courteous and very helpful. I would recommend Dr. Smith to others. Not impressed with Hutchinson.

I was very dissatisfied with the care I received at Eastern Dermatology. After an appointment on 12/2/2010 with Dr. Hutchinson to remove a rapidly growing lesion on my face, it took 11 days to get their pathology report. This was very near my eye so it was important to me to have it removed before it was so large and left more to be repaired. By 12/13/2010, I called their office stating I would just remain on hold until the pathology report could be found. Amazingly, the report was then located. Dr Hutchinson got on the phone and made excuses as to why it took so long to receive the path report. When I got the report faxed to me, the date reflected the report was actually completed on 12/06/10 a full week before. The lesion was Squamous Cell and Mohs Surgery was suggested. Not wanting to deal with an organization that could not even give pts.a timely path report, I went to Dr Defazio for Mohs Surgery at Brody School of Medicine. She did a great job and their office staff was wonderful

I have been going to Eastern Dermatology for about 6 years now. I was referred by my nurse practitioner, who also happens to be my sister, for skin cancer. The areas I was concerned about were on my face: one on my nose and the other on the left side of my face near my ear. I underwent the mohs procedure, which Dr. Lewis and his staff took an initial biopsy of the areas and determined it was skin cancer (basil cell). Then they "scraped" the areas again and analyzed them to be sure they got all of the borders. I underwent this scraping and waiting process only 2-3 times with only about an hour wait in between. They were very professional and helped calm my fears (I did have to have needles coming towards my face so needless to say...). I did not feel a thing during any of the steps and after the healing process, there is barely a scar left. Even if you know what you are looking for, it is hard to see. So I definately commend Eastern Dermatology on the awesome job they do and I
