The main reason I am not returning is the appointment I made for my son to have a few extractions of baby teeth that were causing pain. I made the appointment about 2 weeks before we came in. It is a 30 minute drive for me to this office. When I made the appointment I told them It is an appointment for 2 maybe 3 extractions. She never said the doctor had to check them first and I would have to come back a second time for the extractions. Than the doctor was trying to tell me that we could do them if he had not had a cookie an hour before because of the gas. But was not going to them because he had eaten. So she than proceeded to say she could not do any today and I would have to make another appointment. And I told her they should have told me on the phone about him not having food when I made the appointment, which they did not. She had my son in the chair and looked at his teeth for like 5 minutes and I never asked her for an exam. So than I told them I would call to reschedule and see in a few days how his teeth were. Over the next week he lost 2 of the teeth that were bothering him. So I never rescheduled but I got a bill for $94.00 for an examination fee, that I neither made an appointment for nor authorized. They did say they will reduce the bill by 20% . Which, I should only pay 20% since they messed up and did not explain to me that my son would need an appointment before any extraction after an examination and they would not do it on the same day. My last dentist we made an appointment for an extraction for my daughter and they got her in and did the extraction and I paid my 20% copay all in the same day. So be very careful how you make appointments with them, I think they try to get you to comeback as much as possible so they can keep charging for office visits. Bit of a scam if you ask me.
