I am writing this review, due to the disturbing review I just read when getting the phone number for Park Circle Animal Hospital. We had a beloved borderline collie shepherd named Dakota. We had this beautiful dog from when he was a pup until he was 15, which we had used Park Circle Animal Hospital. When he was 13 Dakota developed as most dogs do in old age, hip dysplasia. I called and spoke with Park Circle about what we could do to ease his pain and what to expect in the future. The caring ladies at the desk and the doctors explained the whole process and basically gave me a reality check that though the medicine would help with his pain that Dakota had lived a good life and all we could do was to help with the pain. On that day before Valentines day which 15 years ago I brought Dakota to my wife for her Valentines surprise, we had to take him to Park Circle to have him put down. I couldn't have ask for a more caring staff at Park Circle, and the painless send off they gave our family friend. I received cards from the park circle and they had made arrangements for Dakota to be cremated and put in a beautiful wooden box. In my opinion if you need a Great hospital, please use Park Circle on Virginia avenue and to the lady that wrote the review, I wish you the very best with the pup and I am sorry for your loss.

I had to check one star. If it was an option I wouldn't have checked any. My pug was having a difficult labor and I told them I needed to bring her in because it was an emergency. She had one puppy and I brought the little 1 ounce baby with me. I was left in the waiting room for 10 minutes until another person in the waiting room demanded my dog be seen. She died 5 mins later. She was brought to me dead wrapped in a towel and I was ushered out the back door. I asked about the puppy and they basically said good luck. Happy ending to the story, I bottle fed my girl and she is now 4 years old ( :
