Recently went to this doctor for an eye exam. Thought that maybe because he was a retina specialist it would be worth to spend the extra $$$ but boy was I wrong. I waited an hour and a half to be seen and when I saw the doctor he seemed annoyed that I was just there for an eye exam. Told me the McAllen office mainly deals with cataracts and other specialized eye diseases and the Harlingen office does the eye exams. ok???? he prescribed contacts but said I would have to wait a week before receiving them because their office does not carry an inventory. I pick up the trial pair a week later and went for a follow up the next week only to tell him that I felt they were too strong for me. He adjusted the prescription and supposedly put in another order for the trial pair. Flash forward ONE MONTH!!! I have yet to receive the trial pair or the new prescription. Have not heard from anyone unless I'm the one calling. Very unprofessional, horrible service in McAllen office! work eye doctor ever!
