      UPMC Pinnacle Dialysis Access Center provides creation of and follow up care for peritoneal dialysis (PD) access needed for treatments. PD uses a membrane inside your abdomen (peritoneal membrane) as a filter. It clears wastes and extra fluid from your body and works to return electrolyte levels to normal.
