Me and my boyfriend took our John Deere riding lawn mower to them in May 2016. We asked for a quote on the repairs before they started and were quoted a reasonable amount which we agreed to. When notified that the repair was finished we were told that it was going to be an extra $100. That they found an additional problem and fixed it. When asked why they didn't notify us with a courtesy call they became very irate and proceeded to tell us why we were wrong for wanting a call for just a measly $100. The man was very testy and argumentative and hung up on my boyfriend. We paid the cost and retrieved our mower, however, a month later the same part broke again and upon using a different repair shop, one much better, they told us about the poor work of Johnson's that caused the second break. Do not use this repair shop if you want quality and friendly service and if you want your mower repaired correctly.
