Easy to locate, the people are nice and they have lots of cool guns! Best place to do gun "business" in the high desert, Ca gun laws suck, these folks know how to follow them!

Recently went back and ordered a straight stock shotgun which I had been looking for. The woman stated she had just ordered 2 of them and I jumped on getting one, just finished the 10 day wait. This time there were no issues and ok with going back.



Last order - they were the only gun shop in the Hi-Desert with the rifle you wanted, go down the hill. Ordered a rifle @ higher than average price however they had it in stock. Requested from Matt that I have an addition 9 10 round mags for the rifle; he stated they had plenty and I could pickup when I picked up the rifle. This was incorrect as the ordering woman (owners wife), stated she would allow me 1 additional mag even though they still have boxes according to Matt. I had ordered some 10 round mags for my handguns in the past and took way too long and were not correct. Rather than saying anything, I just put them in a drawer.

For every customer complaint, there are 26 other customers who have remained silent. In other words, there are far more happy customers who enjoy the friendly, competent service they get at High Desert Guns and Ammo. Did you ever notice that good reviews actually have "real" names? Instead of writing a negative review, how about being an adult and talking with them? We have received nothing but great service and products from the owners and staff. Thank you High Desert Guns!!

I want to say that our family has had nothing but the best service from Gene, Renee, and staff at High Desert Guns! They have excellent prices and great goodies no one else in this area has. I recommend this business as AAA+++ and better. As far as some people giving negative reviews, take it with a grain of salt. They have far more happy customers and friends they have made along the way than you will read about in a couple of negative reviews! All we do is tell everyone to go there. Great prices, very friendly staff, excellent customer service!

Well let me start with there customer service is a joke, the older lady that "runs" things is rude and could care less about what you are buying and im pretty sure loves to be a big rude you know what. Their prices are a complete joke, as if trying to make all the profit on one gun, I advise everyone to shop around, Buds guns, 7th street pawn, Bass Pro, oh and if they say they will match prices they will lie to your face once your there. I have no problem with anyone contacting me to show prof of what I pay for guns at there competitors, "example, springfield xd9, retails 479.99 their price 559.99, gsg 1911 22, retail 340.00 their price 429.99!!!! yes I own both these guns and still have the receipt. Walk away they are the little engine that wants to but cant. The shop is pretty and pretty small, no more then 4 people at a time, and they cant chew gun and walk, only deal with one customer at a time. They need only to compete with the other stores and try smileing for once and make conversation, thats called customer rapport and loyalty witch they never will or have. They wont ever see a single dime from me again, and will make it a personal goal to make sure they dont screw anyone else in the H.D. We are at a time where we need to stand together and continue to buy guns fight for our rights and take a stand. They could care less, dont waste your time, and you dont have to believe me, walk in and watch the show-------

Run away from this place as fast as you can. Go down the hill to Turner's Outdoorsman. You will regret it if you don't.
