Over the years I have had many cats, with a variety of health and personality issues. This facility has been the best place I have found so far to board. My diabetic cat got proper medical care and feeding, (which is better than she got when I boarded her with the VET), my anxious cat was given plenty of hands on affection, and my extroverted cat loves to roam and visit the staff during his daily cage-free time. The cages are generously sized, cleaned every day, and the staff pays close attention to dietary and/or medical instructions left by the owners. There is daily handling for each cat in the facility, unless otherwise requested, and the entire place is just filled with banks of windows looking out on bird feeders and fields to give your cat something interesting to watch.If your cat is not getting along with the cat next door, the staff have no problem moving and rearranging the cages - your cat does not have to be moved from the cage that is 'theirs', so there is no anxiety about relocating.We found this place by checking with a Vegan resource, and it is the only one listed in our area that met the requirements.If you are concerned for a cat with health issues, the staff here has seen it all and are confident and competent. Also, to ease your mind, they are only a hop, skip and a jump from an emergency veterinarian who is open when other vets are closed (Animerge) as well as other vet services.

When you walk into this Facility, All you smell is urine! This Place is so Unsanitary, it is disgusting. I dont know what the other reviews were about. I would never leave my cat in a place like this! To the last post: I can believe that your cat came home with fleas!

If at all logistically possible, this is where you want to board your cat(s). From the quiet setting, to the panoramic windows with bird-feeder visitors, to the duplex living, your kitties will find a second home with cat-loving owners Ray & Marilyn. Their attend to your cats as if they were their own. We have used them for years, and even adopted one of their rescue kittens. We travel many times a year, but for our cats this is a stress free transition every time.

I have used the Cats Inn twice. Both times I was impressed with the facility & the staff, They're very caring & professional. When I mentioned to my vet that I would be boarding my cat there, he said it was a very good kennel. But the last time my cat was boarded, he came away with fleas...lots of them. I bathed him, used Frontline products, bombed my home & I am still combing fleas off of him 5 weeks later. He is the only animal in the house & isn't allowed outside, nor did he have fleas before he was boarded therefore I can only conclude he got them there...I won't be taking him back.
