THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. APPALLING EXPERIENCE! Well, it appears I'm not alone with the negative reviews of this company. I ordered a bed frame through Groupon and not only was my order processed 2 weeks later; the overall experience was just horrible. My numerous emails and phone calls to Groupon were a dead end as well. Their customer service team is just as bad! First off, you can't call the local terminal because no one ever picks up. Secondly, it appears they can't even tend to their voicemails either because I was unable to leave a message. The system is dated and incorrect with status updates, claiming to leave voice messages when clearly that’s not the case. In addition, do expect a long waiting period when calling the toll free number. I received an email request to complete a questionnaire of delivering conditions which I had no issue completing. However, do these people even bother to read it? I'd say NO! Why? Well, because the day before delivery I was informed of a pickup window outside the business hours I provided in the questionnaire. Are you kidding me??!!! You can't speak with a manager. The pompous attitude of the customer service team is disgusting. It's a shame that many well respected companies are suiting to such low standards because in doing so, they are potentially risking losing future business. These companies should do their research before hiring 3rd party businesses to represent them. Rest assured, should I ever have an order requiring delivery by Home Direct, I won't be bothered with finalizing the sale. This is, by far, one of the worst organizations I have ever dealt with but it will be the last. My advice, please do your homework before finalizing your purchase. If my review can eliminate someone’s future headache, then my work is done. I seldom give reviews but the word needs to spread about this horrible company. Trust me the poor reviews outweigh the positive ones. People that have submitted negative reviews (and photos in some instances) are not without cause. They are provided as insight of what potentially may come. In the end, it is your choice but please do not take submitted reviews lightly. Now, I have yet to receive my merchandise but I do hope that it is delivered damage free. Yet, from what I’ve read and seen, even that is becoming questionable.
