World's first nozzle to convert backpack mist blowers to electrostatic operation for use in vector control. Our professional engineers and field staff combine hands-on agricultural experience with expertise in electrical, mechanical and agricultural engineering to design and develop systems that help aerial applicators protect crops on four continents. The spectrum line of electrostatic ground sprayers built by Sides Inc. are used in orchards and nurseries throughout North America, while the Spectrum electrostatic backpack spray system is proven to improve control of mosquitoes and other disease vectors. Spectrum electrostatic spray systems employ the same principals of physics used by auto body paint shops and photocopy machines to assign a positive or negative electrical charge to the spray droplets as they pass through the spray nozzle.
