The Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District, a subdivision of the state of Texas, is responsible for operating and constructing infrastructure and amenity elements in Irving in Texas. The district performs flood control and drainage and raw water supply and irrigation operations. It offers land reclamation, lake management, and land-based and water transportation services. The Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District operates district administration, finance, operations management and water supply departments. With annual revenues of more than $23 million, the district undertakes reclamation and street and road extension projects. It has undertaken projects for the Las Colinas Urban Center, Lake Carolyn Storm Water Pump Station, Colorado Drive and Buffalo Boulevard.
