I am a real estate broker who has used the Drain Brain for several septic services and pumps on both my personal property and client's properties. Everyone has been quite satisfied with the service. They show up when they say they will and are honest if a problem is encountered and don't see you things you don't need. I highly recommend this firm.

Jason, from Drain Brain showed up on time and was quick to assess the problem. He was courteous and informative and had our drain cleared in no time at all. He answered any questions I had and was very friendly. I'm glad that I didn't listen only to the previous negative review I read. This company was recommended by my Master Plumber, and from personal experience, I would recommend them without hesitation.

Their actual service staff are friendly and courteous. The owner, however, is one of the worst people you will ever have to deal with in your life.



We recently had a service call to my mom's house, to clear a toilet and the shower. 12 hours later we noticed flooding in the basement, obviously whatever the clog was simply got pushed down the line farther. No problem, right on the invoice it says they stand behind their work for 3 months.



Or not. Or my mom will call, and then get yelled at, berated, and told it will be $275 to come out and look at the problem. And when I say yelled at, I mean myself, my fiance, and my sister, who were sitting at the table, could hear the owner screaming at my mom.



There are plenty of other plumbing services in the Cortland/Ithaca area, so I would steer well clear of this one.
