Dan also spearheads the firm’s liquor law practice handling licensing, zoning, trademark, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance and any other issue liquor clients may face. A local native, Dan is a graduate of Central Bucks High School East. Dan then attended Duquesne University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and a double minor in Political Science and Theater. He continued on to complete his Juris Doctorate at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. After graduating in 2015, Dan clerked for the Honorable Judge Serfass in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. The small bench provided valuable exposure to civil and criminal cases. Now, with Stern & Eisenberg, Dan has become adept at providing cost-effective, comprehensive legal representation which creatively and amicably resolves complex disputes. - Personal InjuryPrior to joining Stern & Eisenberg, Zach worked for another nationally recognized firm, where he managed a revolving caseload of approximately 600 active bankruptcies under Chapters 7 and 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. In this capacity, he handled all bankruptcy-related matters, including defending secured creditors in adversarial proceedings. In addition, he worked as an Attorney-Advisor for the federal government, where he advised judges on regulatory, evidentiary, and policy matters, and drafted opinions for adjudication under Title II and Title XVI of the Social Security Act. He has represented clients in personal injury cases, divorces, interstate custody disputes, custody modifications, and adoptions. When practicing in Alabama, he was a certified Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for two years. Zach graduated from The University of Alabama and The University of Alabama School of Law, respectively. In law school, he was an editor on the Journal of Legal Profession, which is a grade-on journal for the top 25% of first-year students.
