MOM s - My Organic Market is a chain of full-service supermarkets with stores located in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. Scott Nash started MOM s - My Organic Market in 1987 at the age of 22 in his mother s garage in Beltsville, Md., with an initial investment of $100. Founded as a home delivery and mail-order organic food provider, MOM s - My Organic Market presently offers organic grocery items, bulk foods, supplements, body care products, gourmet cheese, gluten-free food, household goods and pet supplies. Additionally, it offers canned goods, liquor, paper products, medicines, fresh produce, and dairy and meat items. MOM s - My Organic Market provides online recipes, food information, newsletters and discount coupons. It is a founding member of the Clean Energy Partnership. MOM s - My Organic Market maintains a presence in Jessup, Md.
