Once hailed as the best Chinese food around, my last experience was horrific enough to drive me away forever. Anticipating some great food, we soon found out what would become a horror show. The General's chicken, had no flavor and very tough pieces of chicken. The fried rice was also flavorless. After pointing this out to the waitress, nothing was done to correct it. My friend had Sesame chicken, and except for the sesame seeds, her chicken tasted the same as mine. The sauces had no flavor at all, not even a hint of vinegar! Hot and Sour Soup seemed like last month's left-overs. Another friend had Sweet & Sour Chicken, which wasn't edible. A friend noticed an egg roll falling off the plate the waitress was carrying. When she saw that my friend was looking, she kicked the egg roll aside. A young man behind the register was later seen picking up the egg roll, and putting it back on the counter! Also, the place wasn't clean, the bathroom frightening.

This is a real jem in RI. The food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. They have a very diverse and extensive menu; there's something for everyone. I highly recommend them. I drive a half hour to go there for dinner; there's nothing even close. They're the best Chinese food in RI.

I grew up in NYC and ate in Chinatown a lot -- this restaurant is Providence's equivalent - a great restaurant, lovely people, and REAL Chinese food.

I can't believe it when I see the bill at the end of the night! It's so reasonable for the quality of the food, the filling portions, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting! Great place to bring the family for real Chinese food!
