Purchasing experience was great. After that, it went down hill fast. Service department is AWFUL. There isn't enough space here to go into every detail. I purchased a pre-owned Chevrolet Avalanche in July and it is now October and I am still trying to get them to replace a TPM sensor. I have contacted Customer Resolution twice. The last word was that they weren't going to replace it because:

1) My letter stated that it was the rear sensors 2) because it's been 3 months.

The first month was spent traveling from Charlotte to Kernersville on several occasions for their service department to try to resolve the issue. I was seeing messages stating, "check left rear tire pressure", "check right rear tire pressure" and "serv TPM". The supposedly replaced one of the rear sensors, but that didn't resolve the issue. Then they claim to have replaced both rear sensors, but that didn't resolve the issue. They finally told me to take it to a local Chevy dealer because they didn't have the equipment or software to reset the TPM system. LoriAnn, with the service department, call McKenney Chevrolet and spoke to Tommy so that whatever the cost was would be sent to Kernersville. I took my truck to McKenney and Tommy stated that the TPM system would have to be reset first because if the tires had been rotated or replace by Kernersville, the system would know which sensor was actually bad. He said if a sensor was bad, i wold see it within a couple of weeks. Within a couple of weeks the message was "check left front tire pressure" and it would show 9 PSI. Then it would say "check left front tire pressure" and it would show 77 PSI. I called Tommy and said he wold need to speak to LoriAnn again to get the work authorized. I called LoriAnn and left her a message. Two weeks went by and I didn't hear a word from her, which has been my experience. That's when I contacted Customer Resolution for a 2nd time. (I contacted them the first time for the same issue and because I had called LoriAnn on 3 or 4 different occasions and received no return call.) I did purchase a pre-owned vehicle and I did sign an AS-IS statement, but there were several things that I was told they would fix. Most thing were repaired/replaced after 2 or 3 trips there. Looks like the TPM will be coming out of my pocket. Every time I was there for a service visit, there was at least one person in the waiting room complaining about the service department or how they had been back there multiple times for the same issue.

They have great prices, but they have to, because customers aren't going to keep going there just for the "great" service in the service department. It doesn't exist!

Not only would I not recommend them, I will tell people every chance I get about my experience.

(This is truly a very brief synopsis of my actual experience)

This dealership advertises cars online for a cheaper than typical price, then when you get to the dealership they claim it just sold at auction that very morning. I spoke with the salesman 7pm the night before I made the trip over where he assured me it was there and he would have it ready for me for our appointment. I arrived to be told by a different salesman that Paul (the salesman I spoke with the night before) wanted me to let you know he was sorry but the car sold at auction this morning. Why would they sell a car at auction that had an appointment with a retail customer in just a couple of hours? Of course they had another car just like it for $3,000.00 more that they would be happy to show me! Do not make the drive for a "good" deal there it is a scam.
